Julie Schiavo

Recipient of the first Saffron Studio Bellydance Achievement Award & Scholarship in December 2007.

"In my opinion, Julie is the epitomy of a joyful, dedicated, beautiful bellydancer! She comes to class regularly, practices on her own and has performed 3 solos so far, without my nudging her along!
Julie has gone above and beyond by also learning to use a prop to accent her bellydance performances.
She is becoming quite the wielder of the scimitar!  Everyone comments on how impressive Julie's performances are and how the joy of the dance shines through when she performs.  Julie is an inspiration to many women.  I am so happy to dance with her, have her as a student, troupemate and friend."
